sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946, as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. The oldest son of Francesco Stallone, Sr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). He has an older brother named Frank Stallone, who is a musician and actor. Due to complications during birth, Sylvester's left side was paralyzed. The result was his famed "snarling", slurred speech and distinctive appearance. Due to the conflicting parent-child relationship, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. The couple divorced later. Stallone did his studies in drama at American College in Switzerland, before moving to the University of Miami. Stallone left the school to explore acting in New York City.
