Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist and a musician who works predominantly in Tamil as well as Malayalam language films. Annayum Rasoolum marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian background. She was the daughter of a Madras High Court attorney. Also, she has an older sister who works as a research assistant in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah is originally from Chennai. She went to National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began playing the piano classically in her 8th year. Young Stars was the Jackson Five band Andrea joined at 10 years old. The band led her to her first singing career as well as her first music composition. She performed as a stage artist at her school and took part in a variety of plays staged by The Madras Players, EVAM and other theatre groups. Andrea was the President of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started performing as an infant performer as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She was featured in the 2006 leo coffee commercial with Shiva. The year 2006 was the time she appeared in a TV show airing on Podhigai. She has performed throughout India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's climax, (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. She was asked to play one of his female leads on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani who is a homewife with a husband who has had an affair. She was blackmailed. Andrea was approached by Simran Shobana and Tabu. Released in Early 2010. The film was released in August 2011. Venkat Prabhu launched his multi-starrer Mankatha. She was asked to take on a lesser support role. Annayum Rasoolum from Rajeeev Ravi the romantic comedy she made her debut in Malayalam in, was released on the 11th of August, 2013.
