Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was just 5 years old and grew up within Orange County. The actress got her first taste of acting in 2015. That same year, Sofia Pernas graduated from the University of California San Diego. Pernas she had appeared in tiny appearances in NCIS as well as Leverage prior to her debut in the part in the role of Marisa in The Young and the Restless she was a well-known character on the soap. She landed the role Catalina in Jane the Virgin after she was let go of the soap. She speaks four languages. She has appeared on The Brave with Hannah Rivera as well as The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Pernas was the character Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between 2019 and 2020.
