Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress born and brought up at home in Orange County. At the age of five, she moved from Morocco to California. In 2015, she graduated from University of California San Diego and got her first break in acting. Pernas made minor appearances on NCIS and Leverage, but she landed the part as Marisa in The Young and the Restless. Following her departure from the soap opera Jane the Virgin in 2016 she was recast as Catalina as a character who was on the show frequently.
